Description
The State Russian Museum, located in the historic center of St. Petersburg, is the world's largest museum of Russian art. It is the first state museum in Russia dedicated to Russian fine art. One of the museum's key divisions is the Multimedia Center, located in the Western Pavilion of the Mikhailovsky (Engineers') Castle. Its main focus is on thematic electronic and digital exhibitions, which provide a deeper understanding of the Russian Museum's extensive collection.
The Multimedia Center offers visitors interactive exhibitions where artworks come to life through the use of computer films, audio and video, and 3D modeling. Public lectures by leading museum specialists are offered to the general public through an online lecture program. In addition, the center actively collaborates with the museum's virtual branches, organizing seminars, video conferences, and thematic meetings.
Visitors can purchase tickets to the center's events and view the current schedule and events on our website.
